Seasoned Transactional and Regulatory Attorney and Former General Counsel Brings Exceptional Track Record Working with Mission-Driven Companies and Investors
Denver, CO —December 2, 2020— RPCK Rastegar Panchal LLP (RPCK), an international law firm focused on providing highly-tailored and innovative solutions to leading impact investors, entrepreneurs and growth enterprises around the world, announced today that Tom Scriven has joined the firm to lead its new office in Denver, CO. He joins RPCK from RENEW LLC, an impact investment firm based in Denver, Toronto and Addis Ababa, where he served as General Counsel and managing partner for over eight years.
Mr. Scriven will work closely with the team to advise RPCK’s wide array of U.S. and international clients including family offices, private foundations, investment firms, fund managers, and growth stage companies, on private capital transactions and fund structuring, corporate legal matters, governance, and regulatory compliance. In addition, he will work with the firm’s existing base of clients in the Colorado region, which include Zoma Capital, Align Impact, Factor[e] Ventures and other leading impact investors.
Mr. Scriven has extensive experience supporting private equity (PE) firms as well as in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, government investigations and litigation. His expertise also includes the design of cutting edge legal solutions that leverage new sources of financing to enable clients to achieve ambitious business and impact objectives. Mr. Scriven has also developed gender lens and SME investment vehicles for frontier markets, co-designed and launched first-of-their-kind blended finance partnerships, structured a social impact bond and pay-for-success grants for a family foundation, and closed numerous private capital transactions.

Tom Scriven received his B.A. in political science from Houghton College, where he graduated summa cum laude, and his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law. He is a member of the bar in New York, Colorado and Washington, D.C. He also is a Chartered Financial Analysis (CFA) ® charter holder.
