On 3 July 2013, management club NÖ-Süd and RIZ Niederösterreichs Gründeragentur hosted the event „CROWDFUNDING – fluke or viable financing alternative?“. In his keynote, Keyvan Rastegar discussed the current legal framework, obstacles and trends of crowdfunding in Austria and the United States. Panelists Daniel Horak, CEO of Austria’s new crowdfunding platform CONDA, Reinhard Willfort, founder of Austria’s first crowdfunding platform 1000×1000, and Michael Moll, CEO of accent Gründerservice GmbH, stressed the importance of making crowdfunding an attractive financing tool for SMEs.
