Timothy M. Gladden is a Partner in RPCK’s New York office in the Corporate and M&A, and Venture Capital and Private Equity practices. He is involved in all aspects of the firm’s corporate practice, focused primarily on mergers and acquisitions, and venture capital and private equity investments. Tim frequently works with startups and venture funds focused on the future of how we work, live, and care for ourselves in a highly connected and increasingly diverse society. His deep and diverse legal practice also serves clients in a general advisory and outside general counsel role.
Tim has significant experience counseling early-stage companies, portfolio companies and entrepreneurs on ongoing operational matters as well as transactional issues relating to corporate formation, equity issuances and initial financing matters. He advises venture-backed companies on later stage financings, joint ventures, corporate governance and day-to-day legal matters throughout their lifecycle from formation to exit. Tim has represented clients in negotiations of commercial agreements and technology licensing agreements with many of the largest U.S. and international financial services companies. He serves as outside general counsel to several emerging tech companies.
Tim advises venture capital funds on formation, portfolio management and investments. He has particular experience working with new and emerging managers.
Prior to joining RPCK, Tim was a partner at Davis+Gilbert LLP and Rimon, P.C., and was associated with Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP and Thelen LLP. In addition, he had his own practice that focused on representing early stage and venture-backed companies.
