Of Counsel
Carl is of counsel at RPCK, in the New York office. He has broad experience counseling public and private clients on the tax aspects of domestic and international corporate finance, private equity, project finance, maritime finance, and mergers and acquisitions transactions.
Carl works closely with RPCK’s deal teams on planning and negotiation surrounding financial and strategic M&A transactions, fund formation and investment transactions by funds, family office investments, complex joint venture and partnership arrangements. Typical transactions include inbound and outbound transactions, troubled debt restructuring, and executive compensation and other employee benefits arrangements.
Prior to joining RPCK as of counsel, Carl practiced as a partner at a prominent Florida law firm, and at Simpson Thatcher in New York. He received his Bachelors degrees in Political Science, Economics and Finance, summa cum laude, from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and his J.D., cum laude, from Cornell University. Carl is a member of the bar in New York and Florida.
