Advisory Board Member
Alexandra is a member of the Legal Advisory Board for RPCK. Alexandra currently serves on the Advisory Board of Seeds Investor Holdings Inc., a wealth tech company supporting FAs and RIAs in offering portfolios that speak to client values; as sustainability and finance strategy consultant to Sostena Inc, an impact company driving transformation of the fresh produce supply chain; and on the Global Advisory Council of Beyond the Billion, an advocacy company driving over $1B in capital from allocators to women-led companies. Based on her accomplishments in law, governance, leadership, and sustainable investing, she currently serves select clients with capital formation, fund formation, corporate structuring, transactional, sustainability and strategic advisory needs and is an active, diverse candidate in investment company board searches.
Private Practice. Alexandra has over 25 years of experience in investment management practice, focusing primarily on traditional and alternative fund formation, fund governance and regulation, product development, corporate and compliance advice for advisers and funds, and advising family offices and other institutional investors on fiduciary and investment matters. She was an equity partner and leader of the private funds practice at three major international law firms, WilmerHale, Reed Smith, and Hughes Hubbard.
Experience and Industry Leadership. Alexandra also has considerable senior in-house experience, advising boards, public pension plans, and C-suite officers on matters of consequence, including expansion plans, significant investments, regulatory compliance, corporate structure, responses to examinations, investigations, and litigation, and a wide range of fiduciary duty, regulatory, and investment issues. She co-founded and chaired the High Water Women (HWW) Symposium: Investing for Impact, in 2013 and 2014 and led HWW’s microfinance risk assessment program, including creating the initial training modules for Grameen’s Bankers Without Borders project. In 2022, she published “How to ESG: A Resource Guide for Establishing an ESG Program for Your Company,” as editor-in-chief and a principal author. In 2023, she joined Finpublica, the Mutual Fund Directors Forum faculty, and The ESG Exchange Legal Technical Committee, to continue contributing to thought leadership in sustainable investing. She has also written for and spoken at events for Practicing Law Institute, Bloomberg, Directors & Boards, Corporate Counsel, The Anti-Corruption Law Report, and The Private Equity Law Report.
Board Experience. Alexandra is the former Board President for the Schroders mutual funds and former Board Chair of two non-profits, High Water Women Foundation and Artists to End Hunger. She is qualified to serve on Board audit committees and as an audit committee financial expert on registered fund boards.
