Mark van Ophem is a member of the Advisory Board. Mark has over fourteen years of legal experience in the areas of banking, asset management and restructuring, both at a top global law firm and in the General Counsel’s office of a Fortune 500 company.
As an in-house counsel, Mark focuses on developing close collaborations with business teams to achieve their objectives while limiting legal risks and ensuring compliance with applicable policies and procedures.
As an advisor, Mark leverages his knowledge and experience as an in-house lawyer with a top-tier financial services institution as well as a senior attorney at a major international law firm, both in the Netherlands and in New York.
Prior to going in-house, Mark was an associate at Loeff Claeys Verbeke in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, and with Allen & Overy LLP in New York. Mark is also chief counsel at a financial institution in New York.
