Senior Counsel

Stephanie is a Senior Counsel at RPCK and her practice focuses on international corporate transactions, private equity and investment funds, cross-border mergers and acquisitions, impact investing and corporate advisory work.

Prior to joining RPCK, Stephanie was Deputy Associate General Counsel for Equity and Investment Funds at the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (“DFC”), where her practice focused primarily on advising DFC on direct equity investments and investments to private equity funds in emerging markets. Prior to DFC, Stephanie was a Senior Attorney at FINCA Impact Finance, a global microfinance organization with subsidiaries in Latin America, Africa, Eurasia, the Middle East and South Asia. She was the lead attorney for equity/cross-border mergers & acquisitions in the network, and she also advised on general corporate matters and corporate governance. Stephanie was a Senior Associate in the Business section at Holland & Knight prior to joining FINCA Impact Finance, where she worked across business lines, with the international private wealth, tax-exempt organizations, international cross-border transactions and mergers & acquisitions groups.

Stephanie has traveled extensively in emerging markets and worked with clients in Latin America, Africa, the Middle East, Eurasia and South Asia in industries ranging from fintech and financial inclusion to renewable energy and sustainable urban solutions, education and information and communication technology. Stephanie has been a speaker on issues related to social impact, including at the Impact Investing Legal Working Group at New York Law School on responsible exits and gender lens investing and has numerous publications, including in the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) Docket on cross-border mergers and acquisitions in emerging nations.

Stephanie has held positions of increasing responsibility in law firms and in-house managing and leading legal projects and teams across the world. She held multiple leadership roles in the legal department at DFC. At FINCA Impact Finance, she managed and trained legal teams in the network subsidiaries. She graduated from the ACC Leadership Academy (Class of 2021), which also gave her a deeper expertise in leading teams and projects. She also served as board member of FINCA Jordan, a microfinance entity part of the FINCA Impact Finance network, and as vice president and board member of the French-American Chamber of Commerce of Washington DC and as co-chair of its International Business Committee.

Stephanie received her law degree from the University of Paris-X, an LL.M. in International Legal Studies from American University’s Washington College of Law and a Master in International Affairs from Georgetown University. Stephanie is admitted to practice law in New York and the District of Columbia. She also passed the French bar examination under Article 100. Stephanie is a bilingual English and French speaker and has good working knowledge of Spanish.
