Marie Cita is an associate in the New York office. She works on a wide range of corporate transactional matters for clients, advising international and domestic private equity sponsors, portfolio companies, and financial institutions in a range of complex corporate transactions, including M&A transactions, cross-border financings, fund financings, and other secured and unsecured debt structures.

Prior to joining the firm Marie was an associate attorney at Debevoise & Plimpton LLP. Marie received her J.D. from Harvard Law School where she was lead article editor of the Harvard Civil Rights-Civil Liberties Law Review. She received her B.A. in English Language and Literature from Yale University.

Marie is the author of U.S. Asylum Eligibility: Citizenship in the Dominican Republic, 50 HARV. C.R.-C.L. L. Rev. 255 (2015). She is a member of the New York State bar.
