Keyvan is the founder of the Vienna office. Keyvan advises clients on a wide variety of corporate, finance, and private equity matters, often as their strategic deal counsel.
Keyvan has significant deal execution, restructuring, and dispute resolution experience. As a broad-based corporate and finance lawyer, his practice includes instruments across the capital structure, from global, syndicated, secured and leveraged debt over mezzanine, junior and hybrid products to growth-driven capital raises and participation rights.
Keyvan also has extensive corporate experience with dynamic and growth driven ventures and acquisitions. He is global counsel to a number of rapidly growing entrepreneurs, companies, and funds, helping them strengthen their business and expand.
As an advisor, Keyvan provides effective, strategic and finely-tuned advice, focused on achieving his clients’ goals. As an entrepreneur, Keyvan is well-versed in the challenges facing companies. In addition, he is active in the business angel, private equity, and venture capital communities in Vienna and New York.
Prior to opening the Vienna office, Keyvan worked as a banking and finance associate in the New York office of Allen & Overy. There, Keyvan helped to establish the firm’s US German Desk with a focus on Austria, Germany, and Switzerland. Keyvan led a variety of cross-border matters, working closely with multinational financial institutions and their business teams.
Keyvan graduated from Harvard Law School and the University of Vienna. He is a triple-qualified member of the bars of Vienna (Rechtsanwalt), New York (Attorney at Law), and England and Wales (Solicitor). Keyvan is a frequent presenter on private equity and venture capital, and actively advocates to improve the legal framework for growth companies and social businesses.
